Anything less than two out of three would be a disappointment.
Really looking forward to Dusty pitch the home opener tonight.
Watching Pineda should be enlightening. He had a great spring but has reportedly lost a few mph, so we'll see how he fares against one of the better major league offenses.

Done work and pumped for the game tonight. Opening day at the rogers centre is right beside the first day of march madness as my favourite two days of the year.

Home Opener with a real fun pitching matchup. McGowan for us and Tanaka's debut.
Couldn't ask for a better game.

I really want the Jays to just go off on Tanaka tonight. And obviously wanna see McGowan dominate.
Should be a fun a night.

Goins starting at 2B and Diaz at short tonight. Yuck.
Izturis should be the starting 2B right now. Even at his worst he's not anywhere near as bad as Goins.

I don't want to get too ahead of myself here but if we can win tonight, there's a very realistic chance we can sweep.

I wouldn't mind Rasmus and lawrie switching spots if they both keep struggling. Give lawrie a few more pitches to hit ahead of Jose/EE and take some pressure off Colby.

Not only that, but Izturis is on a hot streak. Don't get this move by Gibbons, unless he want's to get fired.

I agree. I hate seeing Rasmus batting second in this lineup. He was 0-4 last night with 3 strikeouts.

I can see the teams rationale. They told Goins that he had to defend and they weren't counting on him to hit a whole lot. If they change course now, they look contradictory. Not saying I agree with it, but I'm sure that's the thought process. It was silly to annoint him as the starter.

Will Goins finally hit the ball out of the infield? Tune in tonight.
Oh and Tanaka is pitching, heard he's pretty good.

Why do we have to keep a promise to a guy who should still be in the minors? The guy should be thanking his lucky stars he's on a major league roster. Another headscratcher.

Yeah there is absolutely no reason to keep a guy up because his job is just to defend. Might as well have our pitchers batting.
