Not dissapointed at all about Morrow. I've given up on the promise.

Not sure about Stroman to the pen though.

WTF is he pitching out of the pen for? Is our rotation that strong?

If he's coming out of the bullpen it's idiotic.

Starting him out of the bullpen after he's been pitching as a starter in AAA all season MAKES NO **** SENSE.

Seriously, just put McGowan in the bullpen and Stroman in the rotation. It's inevitable anyway. Why is that so hard?

Nothing much makes sense with the roster management. Lose a starter, add a starter - current top prospect - as a reliever. Could have DFA's Redmond and brought up Wagner, then put Stroman in the rotation, but no...

This is the same team that decided to move Brett Lawrie to 2nd Base.

It reeks of panic. Why not Wagner if we wanted a bullpen arm. Don't dick the kid around.

It's only insurance for tomorrow/Monday I would assume.

But yes, it's complete **** nonsense that this organization feels BOTH Happ and McGowan should be starting over Stroman.

I'm even ok to see the McGowan experiment through a bit longer.. but then Stroman should be starting instead of Happ.

So **** stupid.

Morrow is an injury prone piece of crap.

With regards to the Stro - If you are calling up a reliever, call up Neil Wagner. Why the hell is Stroman coming up to pitch out of the bullpen?

Dicking the kid around can't be good.

Just another move that makes you shake your head with it comes to this management team.

I smell a 6 man rotation in our future if McGowan has a good start tomorrow. Don't think we've seen the last of that ridiculous idea.

Wagner can't be recalled for a couple more days without a corresponding DL move.

Presumably, he'll be recalled when Stroman is sent back.

I was just about to posdt the Badler comment, however, I like Goldstein's more direct analysis.

Perhaps... maybe they send down Kratz after the two Philly games and call up Wagner.

Either way, Stroman in the pen has got to be a one or two day thing only because they can't call Wagner back up yet.

AA has officially left the reservation. By all means AA, let's start Happ, your precious mistake, over Stroman. A guy who will be gone next year in favour of a guy you hope will be a front-line starter for a long time.

At this point it's very clear: AA has to go. There are no ifs ands or buts about it at this point.

They did have a DL move yesterday, of course. But it was determined that Jenkins was more fit for the role.
