OT: Vote Encarnacion to the All-Star Game

Only because it's been light on the news cycle I thought I'd post the latest returns on fan voting for 2014 MLB All-Star game. Encarnacion is in 4th and after the past month he's had, should be in 1st.

i voted for him… but to be fair, nelson cruz is having a great year… he's got more homers and rbis than edwin and has a good average… martinez is also having a great year… the only one that edwin really deserves to be ahead of is ortiz, but he's getting tracy mcgrady votes at this point so it's kind of hard to surpass him because of his rep.

why is edwin listed as a dh though, when he's their regular first baseman?

EE is on a tear. Lets hope he keeps it up. He definitely should be on the all-star team.

Damn if the blue jays make the playoffs, that will be three straight seasons of playoff appearances in toronto.
First the leafs, then raptors and HOPEFULLY the blue jays.
Maybe signs of things turning around?

I think he makes it with the coaches pick, that's how it works right? or do they only do voting in MLB.

Looking at it, don't think it makes a difference. Edwin probably will get picked by the coach.

With Miggy at one and Papi at the other, it's hard to get voted in at those positions. Not sure why Cruz was listed as a DH, but I get why EE was. It's not like BAL has three OF worth listing without him. Third OF vote would've gone to Cruz pretty easily for me. And thank God Jeter's reign of terror will finally end after this season. It's absolutely moronic that he still wins these votes. It would've been such a nice ending to have him dethroned while he played.

Hard to blame people for voting Cruz... i voted EE but i'm 100% positive he'll make the all-star team.
