It's the cutthroat nature of professional sports. Just win baby.

You made it seem like there was a bit of fatigue, and we can't be burning out a significant asset this early in the season.

I don't agree with the move. One bad outing in a stretch of very successful ones against some stiff competition

Back to back shutouts. This is just like bringing in the backup goalie to give your team a spark. I fully expect BLC back at the helm in no time.

I was fully on board with sending BLC back out for this series as a vote of confidence, but when I looked in his eyes, I saw someone who might've gotten a bit jaded. A rest will do him good; I fully expect BLC to come back stronger for this and lead us to birdie championship time.

Love those winning instincts. That's why Schad is the Tony La Russas of mods.

So what you're telling us, is that you've shuffled him off to Buffalo to ride the buses with Ricky Romero...

And much like Tony, I have occasionally been accused on being asleep at the wheel.

That's a damn fine selection of teams you got there :p
I'm not the only one who has suffered about as bad as you can the last 10 years!

Being a fan of Toronto Sports has prepared me well for futility and mediocrity - I find the suffering hurts less as the years go on actually because its all I know and it becomes expected. i'm not accustomed to this winning thing, I don't really know what winning feels like. Those Kurt Warner teams many many years ago are the only bits of success i've witnessed in sport. I was too young to remember the Jays world series'.

if the offence shows up at all, this should be a sweep

It was a statement move, using a quick hook on BLC. Says a lot about this group going forward. I like it.
