**** Baltimore.
BLC vs. Winneryness. Which supernatural force will prevail?
To be honest, I think we have more favorable pitching matchups. Our offense has proven capable, let's see if we can sneak a series out here against these orange birdies.

We arguably have the pitching advantage all 3 games, and a better offence, but they have their damn winneryness so it's a wash

They seem to want to do everything in their power to ensure that I see as few of the games as possible.
Be curious who closes if it comes to that; Castro, Cecil and Osuna have all pitched on consecutive days, and thus really should not be used today. Redmond4Closer'15

Today's game is the mlb.tv free game of the day fyi.
If the game is tight in the late innings, my guess is we use Hynes and Redmond. So... hopefully it's not tight.

There has to be some logical reason for it, I just have no idea what it is.
And clearly Buerhle is going to throw a complete game. No need for relievers today.

It's the home opener and it's April, thus they'd rather play in the afternoon when it's warmer.

Reminder extra innings is on free preview on Bell (probably Rogers too) through Sunday.

Thanks for the info, I usually watch on "other" streaming sites and wait for MLB.TV price to drop later in the year when the Jays are supposed to be in contention for the playoffs and you can buy HD quality streaming of meaningful games for 10-20 bucks but for some reason every season my plan back fires. I do still end up buying the package though, but I am a cheap skate because I already pay for NBA league pass and come back to Toronto during the summer and just go to Rogers Center or listen on the fan if I wanna chat a game.
Fear the North!

Its done to avoid colder evenings for outdoor ballparks. We had a few early games last year in April as well, so its not out of the norm.

Good point. The Saturday game is at 7:05pm, but I guess they leave the afternoon open in case of weather issues for the opener.
