they forgot to mention the biggest reason for his decline into obscurity; getting dumped by miss USA 2010

No need. He has millions. He's set for life.

Didn't know he was still with the Jays lmao. But good for him. Still got a nice pay day for being released.

He lived the dream, cashing fat paychecks while doing nothing of value. We all wish we could be like Ricky.

He ended up married to Kara Lang, so didn't do too bad for himself.

They bonded over their shared love of career-ending knee injuries.

Truly one of the most baffling declines in sports history.

Let's hope we don't say the same about a certain Raptor PG 2 years from now.

I was gonna say let's not jinx it now... that being said, lowry's decline MIDSEASON after putting in an mvp like performance for the first half, is probably more baffling already. It's not like he even regressed to his career norms, he pretty much fell off a cliff in terms of production. Mvp to Julian stone overnight.

Certainly weird, but there have been a few others:
Steve Sax, Chuck Knoblauch with throwing issues
Nick Anderson in basketball

Would anyone be pissed off if Romero signed with another team and bounced back?
I know I would.
