How many times will Buck Martinez call Giancarlo Stanton "John Carlo" in the series?

ST: Marlins @ Jays | June 8-10 | Sportsnet

Giancarlo Stanton and his Marlins are playing the Blue Jays, but thank the **** lord we don't have to look at that ugly statue. But, with an achoo here and an achoo there, the sneeze shirt is ready for action.

VERSUS

Image

Game 1 - Monday, June 8th
7:05PM EST start time
Marco Estrada vs. Brad Hand

Game 2 - Tuesday, June 9th
7:05PM EST start time
Mark Buehrle vs. Dan Haren

Game 3 - Wednesday, June 10th
12:37PM EST start time
Scott Copeland (spot start) vs. Tom Koehler

At least we don't have to watch the abomination that would've been RA Dickey vs. Stanton. Let's win some baseball games, maybe?

You're telling me Brad Hand is a real person? Watch out for the Buehrle revenge game!

hand looks like he's been "stretching it out" lately, after 14 appearances in relief. he hasn't been "pounded" yet, but i think we can "bang one out" of the park off him. if the line-up continues "stroking it" like they are capable of, we can really "explode" offensively and get to .500

Donaldson and Bautista tied for wRC at 11th and 12th in the MLB and Bautista now in the top 30 for fWar after being around 60-75 as a DH. Keep going Jose.

Edwin just got his Cortisone shot, so he should be sliding in with them shortly.

CORTISONE for everyone!
That's what she said.

EDWIN GET WELL SOON! Can we get our everyday starting lineup back? Is that too much to ask? Geez, If the jays can ever get their lineup healthy this team could play close to .600 ball the rest of the way. If Devon Travis could get healthy anytime soon and Edwin would catapult this offense into like 7 runs a game territory.

I like Gibby's use of the DH tonight. That's the way DH should be used. Give Donaldson a night off from the field but still keep his bat in the lineup. If he does more of that, and less Dinner at DH, then it should help the team over the course of the season.

I for one would like to see this happen. A lot of undeserving players will go and bump out the deserving. And it will be a total joke.

It would also highlight the issue of fan voting, although I doubt it will change anything.
