Boston's last nine: WLWLWLWLW. Nice pattern, but I preferred the simplicity of the LLLLLLLL. Let's help them get back to that.

This team is banged up and under-performing overall. Let's take care of these clowns!

Anything less than a sweep would be a disappointment.

4 game sweeps are pretty tough to come by. 3-1 would definitely be a successful series.

Boston is 6-4 in their last 10. They've definitely picked it up since we last played them. I'd love a sweep, but will be happy with 3 out of 4 lol.

I'm only scared of them sitting on us.

According to projections Boston is supposed to be the best team moving forward in the AL East, make of that what you will, but imo they're not a bad team at all.

You're setting yourself up for disappointment if you think you should sweep a team. Just keep winning series and going 6-4 over 10 game stretches. Still over half a season to go.

Yeah, aim to win the series. The Red Sox just won 2/3 in Tampa (including beating Archer). Nothing in baseball is easy, especially for this franchise.

Yep. They had the highest projected WAR in the AL East by a margin of 4 or 5 entering the season, at least according to FanGraphs.
Fortunately for us, their pitching imploded. May that continue this series.

Let's go for 3-4 and finally take over the division. Sick of Tampa, Baltimore, and NY winning games.

Someone on ESPN radio yesterday referred to the AL East as a "mediocre division." Wtf?

They probably tuned out about a month ago.

ZIPS projections have the division race being as close as it gets, if it really ends that way it would be unprecedented, you'd need 3 special playoff games to determine the final seedings. I prefer the fangraphs projections, they use more than one projection system and they adjust playing time properly but even they show similar reasons, with the only differene being they consider the Yankees to be slightly better than the other 3 teams.

Looks like Hanley might have a stint on the DL.
