Seattle-Boston in on Jason Frasor

The Seattle Mariners and Boston Red Sox are interested in Jason Frasor, who was designated for assignment by the Kansas City Royals and opted for free agency.

Seattle is reportedly "taking a hard look" at Frasor.

Boston is sorting out their bullpen issues and Frasor is being considered as an option.

He has a 1.54 ERA this season and only got cut because Kansas is loaded in the pen. Why is he not an option for a Jays team desperate for pen help. Plus the team is familiar with him, so you know your getting a good character guy. He also happens to be married to a Toronto girl, so I bet he'd choose Toronto over these cities of the offer was on the table and comparable.

I don't understand advanced stats, but a WHIP of 1.671 is a red flag.

Well, do you blame them? It was him or Jim Johnson haha.

I hated the Werth/Frasor deal at the time, as the Jays could have easily kept Werth as a 4th OF that year while they started Reed Johnson, but I can't believe it's 2015 and Frasor is still pitching. He's had a pretty good career overall.
