It seems to me that if this series is pitched well by the Jays , Rogers will think the pitching is good enough. If its pitched badly, and the series is lost, they think its not worth spending for more pitching. Either way...the fans are screwed.

Colabello: 143 wRC+, .421 BABIP, -0.1 WAR
That takes some level of defensive ineptitude to pull that off. I don't even blame him, he shouldn't be playing the outfield, but it's frustrating to see the team not realizing that he's hurting more than helping even with his unsustainable offense.

If you think that his offensive output is at all sustainable - and I don't - it's an argument in support of moving EE. EE has little defensive value, is providing less offensively than Colabello, makes oodles more in salary, and will be due for an extension next year.

Looks like the offense hasn't missed a beat... two leadoff walks, next three guys don't capitalize

Almost all of Hutchison's numbers suggest he's had a really good season except he's been so bad on the road. I hope it's something that is correctable or just really really bad luck.

How is it possible that Grady Sizemore's OBP is lower than his batting. Average? Unless that was a sportsnet typo.

Not a typo, he has more sac flies than walks. OBP counts sac flies against while batting avg doesn't.

Donaldson is on fire might be the best third basemen in the league right now. Thank God for him on this team right now

Smoak better be the starting 1B against RHP from this point on. No more messing around.
