Jeff Hoffman, Notes.... oh, well

Toronto just traded the guy that was probably the best SP prospect since Syndergaard. Oh, well. Stuff happens. We move on. Though here are some notes.

Soim guessing of the trade went down in the offseason, Ithink it would have been Norris traded, not Hoffman.
Hoffman was coming off of TJ surgery, while Norris was hyped up big time.

Also, Baltimore wanted Hoffman and Pentecost for their GM to become Toronto's President. Looked crazy at the time. No one agreed. However, in hindsight. Hoffman was traded anyway and Pentecost is blocked at the MLB level for years to come.
Maybe Jays should of sent Hoffman to Baltimore. the long term affects would have been beneficial with a competent President.

While the trade that sent Troy Tulowitzki to the Toronto Blue Jays came as a surprise, it may have been in the making for quite some time.
According to sources, the Blue Jays and Colorado Rockies began discussing a possible Tulowitzki trade during this past offseason
