Mon, Sep 7 @ Red Sox 1:35 PM
Tue, Sep 8 @ Red Sox 7:10 PM
Wed, Sep 9 @ Red Sox 7:10 PM

Mark Buehrle, LHP

The ageless left-hander tossed his team-best 18th quality start on Sunday, showing there's still some gas left in the tank. Buehrle has allowed two earned runs or fewer in 11 of his past 15 starts.

VS

Rick Porcello, RHP

Porcello has been electric since coming off the disabled list, giving up one earned run over 15 innings. He was a tough-luck loser his last time out against the Yankees. Porcello is 1-1 with an 8.00 ERA against the Blue Jays this season.

R.A. Dickey, RHP

Dickey has allowed two runs or fewer in seven of his last 11 starts. He allowed one run in a complete game vs. the Indians in his last outing. That moved Dickey to 7-0 since the All-Star break -- the first Jay to do so since Roger Clemens in 1998.

VS

Henry Owens, LHP

The lefty will try to bounce back from the worst start of his career, when the Yankees rocked him for six hits and seven runs over 1 2/3 innings. Opponents are hitting .270 against Owens.

Drew Hutchison, RHP

Despite his shining 13-3 record, Hutchison has struggled at times in 2015, which is reflected in his 5.07 ERA. He's pitched poorly on the road this season, logging a 9.00 ERA in 11 starts away from home.

VS

Joe Kelly, RHP

Kelly has been on fire, winning his last seven starts. Kelly has allowed two earned runs or fewer in his last six starts. Kelly is 0-1 with a 7.64 ERA in three starts against the Blue Jays this season.

Even though they are last in AL East going to be a tough series

game 1: MB is beat up and Porcello is pitching out of his mind. Could go either way, Boston has won 3 in a row.
game 2: Feel pretty good about this Dickey pitching well and Red Sox have a left who is not pitching well.
game 3: Drew is going to have to do something special or Stroman gets his spot in the rotation (if he doesn't already have it).

Lets keep the streak going and win another series!

The Boston Red Sox inquired about Josh Donaldson before signing Pablo Sandoval last offseason, according to the Boston Herald.

The Oakland Athletics, who eventually traded Donaldson to the Toronto Blue Jays, told the Red Sox that Donaldson wasn't available.

Boston went on to sign Sandoval for five years and $95 million.

That looks like barely suppressed laughter to me. Which is pretty much the correct response to that trade from a Jays perspective.

Colabello has been looking like he's ready to murder someone in the dugout for a while now. He's living the life now... he needs to relax.
