if you have a VPN service MLB.tv would be the best option. I think if you sign up at this point in the season it should be a lot cheaper.

MLB.tv 100%. absolutely worth whatever it costs for the rest of the season.

Mlb.tv. Bought it a couple weeks back when they were selling it for $10 for the rest of the season including the playoffs. Love how you can overlay with radio audio. Its great when you get sick and tired of Buck.

How do you overlay with the radio feed?

No need for VPN, the games aren't blacked out.

When you go to the audio settings it lets you choose the audio feed you want to hear. They usually have home, away, stadium (no commentary), and radio home/away.

I did the radio overlay a couple times, but on PC it reverts back to the TV audio after all commercial breaks. It's a pain to keep switching it back. I still like the option of listening to away team feeds for teams with announcers I prefer, or listening to the radio feed when Wilner isn't on. But the new, redesigned PC media player is still lacklustre. The PS3 app is actually pretty good now with much better functionality, but it's buggy as hell and occasionally skips around the timeline for no apparent reason.

Does mlb.tv carry the playoffs too?

So if I subscribe, I can watch ALL Blue Jay games through the MLB app on my Apple TV?

Is this just a late season promotion, or has it been like this all along?

It's been like this all along. However, if popularity spikes this year, I wouldn't be surprised to see Rogers start blacking out games next season.

I'm at my girls place downtown. She lives in Fort York.. mlb.tv is working fine without VPN through the xbox 360 app... it's only allowing me to watch the fox sports feed though... which I'm totally fine with.. they have some cool cameras man.

also, if for some reason, Rogers blacks it back out next year... get a chrome extension named Hola, and you can vpn through any country for free. it's pure nails. works great
