Shelby Miller 5-14 with a 2.86 ERA. That is really upsetting. Dude's had a very unlucky season.

Hopefully the Braves continue to be terrible and we can get another series W.

Counterpoint: Shelby Miller is an ****, so **** him.

lmao Tommy Hanson. I remember when he was being hyped up as a generational pitcher.

You gonna be divided over this series Bruno?

Why do you say that? Did he do something specific to the Jays that I don't remember, or are we referring to the fact that he's a mean old drunk?

The Yankees were lucky enough to miss him in their series. Hope it won't matter (Price is set to to start his game, it appears) and we can still pick up 2 wins here.

And he's going against Price so 5-15 is a distinct possibility. The bats can rough up Teheran and Wisler even without Tulo and maybe EE.

I can't wait to see the panic on this board if the Jays lose a game against the Braves, which will most likely happen.

Man, I'm happy that AA decided to get Price and not Cueto at the deadline. Ever since coming to KC, Cueto has really struggled in the AL. I'm guessing that he signs with a NL team in the offseason.

The Braves have lost 24 of their last 27, and their only wins are against the Phillies (twice) and the Rockies

2 out of 3 would be nice. A sweep would be even better!

Anything less than a sweep would be a disappointment.

How bad is Edwin's injury? I know Tulo is out 2-3 weeks.

I could certainly happen, and it wouldn't be the end of the world. That's how baseball goes. That said, the Braves have been off-the-rails bad lately. They can't score and they can't pitch. The only teams they've beaten in their past 27 games are the Phillies (twice) and the Rockies (once). Random wins and losses can happen all the time, but really, Shelby Miller is the tougher matchup, but even he has given up 3 or more runs in 4 of his past 5 starts and the other game he only gave up 1 run in 7 innings to the Marlins in a losing effort where the pen gave up 3 runs in the last 2 innings to lose 4-0. Things can change at any time in baseball and all it takes is an off game or a really good game from the Braves and the Jays could even lose the series, but right now the Jays are flying high and the Braves are about as bad as it gets in baseball.

Only reason to panic would be if we lost 2 or got swept. Losing one is no problem.
