We better be getting compensation in return if either gets hired. I'm thinking it starts with Paxton and King Felix.

Hopefully this means AA is staying. LaCava is a sharp baseball mind, it would make sense if he wants to leave the team now, as the team is headed in the right direction, unlike when he was offered the Balti job. All the best to him if he lands the job.

LaCava+Pillar for Trout
Brown+Hutch for King Felix.
Is that how this works?
But, I hope that they don't leave and then we don't re-up AA. I like the way our front office operates (draft/trades/signings) given our apparent ownership constraints.

Good for them. Hopefully they get the jobs, too. Not that I want to see them gone, but I do want to see those guys succeed. And frankly, while it hurts the Jays to lose front office guys like that, it also could potentially help attract other front office talent if the Jays suddenly start being a launching pad from which guys can become GMs.

We must get Hoffman back! Three team trade.
