I'm going got make the bold prediction that Donaldson doesn't play at least game 1. I had that exact same knee to calf injury happen when I was playing 2b years ago. I finished the game but I couldn't even walk the next day.

Would be so, so, so sweet to clinch the division in Baltimore.

Should happen. There's no way the Yankees are sweeping Boston.

Yeah, I don't know why, but the Orioles are a team that I never really liked. I have no justification for it. Nothing against the city of Baltimore, the fans or the players. I just never liked the team for some odd reason. I hope we sweep them.

Still expecting that prick Showalter to swap Wei-Yin Chen with Jimenez for that last start, knowing him.
Regardless, I actually really like the pitching matchups. While not in order, this is most likely the playoff rotation (Price/Dickey/Stroman/Estrada).
Let's go. I'm hype. I hate the Orioles. Let's crush them.

I apologize if it's been posted somewhere else already, but for those who don't like Buck and Pat, they won't be calling the post-season games for the Blue Jays apparently. Also, fortunately, Jays get priority over the Leafs
http://www.thestar.com/sports/bluejays/2015/09/26/sportsnet-gears-up-for-blue-jays-nhl-bonanza.html...
Moore says the Jays will take priority and always be on the main Sportsnet channels. Hockey Night in Canada will be anchored on CBC. From there, Moore says the key will be helping fans find what’s airing on all the other Sportsnet channels, something he says they got much better at last year during the NHL season.
That said, as a regional broadcaster, one of the issues is that they are waiting to see a finalized baseball playoff schedule, which likely won’t be set until after the regular season is over.
“Unlike the NHL, we are not the primary rights-holders ... Fox and TBS are the big rights-holders in the U.S. and they have a much greater say in the schedule than we do,” Moore explains. “So we have to wait to see where the games get scheduled ... we have to be flexible with our schedule until we know those things.”
It also means Buck Martinez and Pat Tabler won’t be calling Jays games like they do in the regular season, though Moore says there will be extensive Sportsnet produced pre- and post-game coverage. It will be interesting to see which U.S. network broadcast crew gets the call for Jays coverage, an indication of just where Toronto stands in the pecking order. The team’s resurgence has been heavily covered in U.S. publications.

Unless he's going to start Ubaldo on short rest, that's not going to happen. What he could do is start Mike Wright or some other generic righty in his place. You'd think at some point he would just trust a good pitcher in Chen to get the job done, but he really seems intent on the Jays never facing a lefty.
In any case, **** Showalter.

i mean this in no disrespect to donaldson at all, and maybe it has to do with how this team is constructed as well, but i never think of donaldson as the defacto best player on the team. its like you know hes really good, but hes not a "sexy" name... like around the league you know guys like mike trout and bryce harper... you know bautista, price, tulowitzki on the jays. but you look up and donaldsons hitting 300, 41 homers, 120 rbis with good defense... its pretty crazy. i dont know how to explain it but i guess what im trying to say is to a casual fan, donaldson is almost an underrated superstar... hes literally one of the best players in the league but it almost doesnt "feel" that way sometimes. idk what im talking about maybe.
