We know who goes games 1 and 2

We actually don't know who goes games 1 and 2. I really hope it's Price and Stroman for obvious reasons, but there has been some Dickey game 2 talk. After the first 2 games, I don't really care who it is.

I would put Dickey for game 2. Perfect pitcher between very similar pitchers in Price and Stroman.

Knuckleball pitchers screw up batters for their next game.

I still don't trust Dickey at all...

Roll out Price and Stroman and try and get a stranglehold on the series then give me Estrada for game 3 and
I swear if I see Josh Thole in a playoff game because of Dickey I'll slit my wrists.

man its kinda a gamble but estrada has proven all of us wrong all season, why not give him another chance...plus hes probably been our best pitcher before price and stroman arrived

it has to go price stroman cus they might get 4 and 5

AA has already said Matin catches Dickey in the post season

Thole won't even make the roster

IMO, game 1 Price, game 2 Dicky (in the dome) and game 3 Stroman against the wild card ace.

I would give it to Estrada. Knuckleballers are great when they're on but when they're not - and that can happen absolutely any game - they give up a ton of runs. I'd keep Dickey ready - hell knuckleballers hardly need to warm up - in case Estrada is off his game and you can bring him in in the 2nd or 3rd inning if needed - but I'd still take Estrada. It would suck that the guy who has been our most consistent pitcher all year doesn't get a chance to pitch in the post-season.

It's a nice problem to have though. Just leave Buehrle out of the rotation, please.

If Dickey's gonna pitch at all (which he is), it has to be Game 2 in the Dome.

If you want to give Game 2 to Stroman, then you'd be better to go Dickeyless with Price, Stroman, Estrada, Price, Stroman.

Personally, I'd be very fine with Price, Dickey, Stroman, Estrada, Price.

Dickey. Estrada pitches from the bullpen.

1)Price
2)Stroman
3)Dickey

I'm also fine with 1)Price 2)Dickey 3)Stroman. Throwing in a knuckleballer in between games (to throw off your opponent) is enticing.

Buerhle is not making the starting rotation.

For all the Dickey game 2 supporters, you're aware that means he's very possibly going to pitch a deciding game 5 over Marcus Stroman, right?

I assume the only reason you pitch Dickey in G2 is if you plan on starting 4 starters in the series. Otherwise, as you state, you cannot have Dickey in G2/G5. As mentioned above, Price-Dickey-Stroman-Estrada-Price is the only way it'd make sense to pitch Dickey in game 2, but personally I'd just go Price, Stroman, (Dickey or Estrada), Price, Stroman.

Assuming Stroman, Price and Dickey are 3 starters, who would you have as your 4th?

Estrada should get game three - he's been an exceptional pitcher throughout the year. Let Stroman take game 4.

Looks like someone's been watching Zaun on TV. I can't fathom not giving the 2nd best starter on the team a guaranteed start.
