This is it David. All this talk of if you don't like it pitch better will be put to the test tomorrow. If at the end of tomorrow's game the series is tied 1-1 then I really like our chances. If not than we are in big trouble and I don't want to hear excuses when you've put us in a win 4 of 5 situation. You want to get paid like a top end ace, pitch like one when the stakes are highest.

Price is either going to be a legend that was worth everyone we traded to get him or he's going to go from king of the city to feeling the wrath of this city.

No city has a memory like Toronto, I'm actually terrified of how quickly this city turns on Price if he pitches poorly tomorrow.

All this talk about Price being good or bad deciding the game tomorrow. I'm honestly more concerned with the glaring holes in our lineup. We all agree that Tulo is trash and should be batting 8th or 9th at this point. Goins is no bettter. Revere is a grossly one dimensional infield singles hitter who we can't really rely on to drive in runs with RISP. That's three potential rally killing batters out of 9 right there. Add in Smoak who could potentially start tomorrow in place of EE and we have some serious problems. How long can we rely on the Big 3 (2?) to carry us? Especially once Pillar and Collabello cool off, which they are bound to do sooner rather than later. Pillar being particularly hot and cold randomly. I dunno, maybe im reading to much into things after tonights goose egg, but i believe there are legitimate reasons to be concerned.

You do realize that this is the number one offense in the major leagues, right? Because it doesn't sound like you do.

We need to jump on Ventura early. If he gets confidence behind that fastball then it could be trouble.

I am alot more confident tonight than yesterday I had a feeling yesterday would play out the way it did. KC was in the ALCS (if youbdidnt hear joe buck mention it 400 00000 times)last year and know how to get back on the horse quick. We looked hung over and drained.

I have a feeling we will win tonight and will be alot more clutch with runners in scoring position.

Please have a look through all 30 MLB lineups. You will find that you can poke holes in every single one of them.

Baseball is a game of streaks. Goins for awhile was hot. He is now cold. That is how it is. There is a reason he is at the bottom of the order. Despite his struggles, we still need his glove more than anything.

EE to Smoak is a gigantic downgrade obviously. The offense is no better then league avg if EE if out and with 4 extremely cold batters. without EE they pitch around Joey cuz they would be fine with trying Cola

How is Ben Revere cold? Before last night, he had like a 13-game hit streak that dated back to the regular season. If that's "legit extremely cold" then I cannot wait til Revere gets just 'warm'.

And I'm thinking Navarro would be the DH in EE's absence... though isn't too hot right either himself.

Am I the only one that's worried about Josh Donaldson?

If he craps the bed today, I think any criticism will be well deserved. That's 3 bad performances in the playoffs and his whole career has been littered with a series of bad playoff performances. Time to face the music and stop giving him mulligans. It's not asking much to bear down and give a good performance when we really need it. Going down 2-0 will be a little more difficult coming back from against a team like KC who are more experienced and better balanced than the Rangers. We can't play with fire and keep spotting teams 2-0 leads. I think that any fan has a right to expect a little more from your ace. And I wouldn't feel bad for Price, he'll still get his millions in the offseason. He'll recover quite quickly from it.

And if he really stinks it up today, I don't think it can be classified as burnout or a physical thing. It'll be between the ears because it's hard to imagine that every time he's been in the playoffs and under performs, it's because he's tired. Nice to have a lights out pitcher in the regular season but if he continually falters in the playoffs because of nerves then the criticism he gets now will be nothing compared to what he'll get when another team signs him for 200 million and watch him underperform in the post season.

On Price: I'm sure he's bearing down, the question is whether he's losing some arm strength. The radar gun says his fastball of late has lost a couple of MPH.
