Will the Jays make the playoffs in 2016?

Large ambiguous question of course given the question marks on pitching, but given a new outlook on everything, Rogers pockets may be a bit wider to spend on a half decent bullpen and a couple starters, so the question is, was this season a blip on the radar or will there be some semblance of continued success?

Our O and D is almost exactly the same:

Lineup

Revere
Donaldson
Bautista
Encarnacion
Tulowitzki
Cola? New 1b?
Martin
Travis
Pillar

Travis replaces Goins who is a FA, and I doubt we re-sign him as he probably will look to be an everyday player elsewhere.

Our offense and defense will still be pretty darn good, with the only issue being Jose's defense, and potential regression of Jose and EE given their age, but they still look pretty elite so I don't see any huge falloffs anywhere in those areas.

Rotation

The questions here are all over the place. Who is an opener, who stays in the BP from Sanchez and Osuna, is Price gone (which I am reading/hearing from Toronto guys is almost writing on the wall), is Dickey going to stay, will Estrada leave for greener pastures (which is also what Toronto media guys are insinuating).

If Estrada and Price leave, one of if not both Sanchez and Osuna will start. If Dickey leaves, well all we really have is our #1 starter for next year.

1. Stroman

I feel as though Osuna and Sanchez will start the year as starters and Hutch will also be brought back to start, along with Dickey on a team friendly deal.

1. Stroman
2. Dickey
3. Osuna
4. Sanchez
5. Hutch

I don't think both Osuna and Sanchez will end up starters though with Sanchez IMO looking more the closer to me and who knows what Hutch does.

Toronto should go for a high end starter moving forward (though this was discussed in depth in the other thread and I won't rehash things).

Bullpen

Cecil, Hendricks and Lowe are the only two guys who really have any value (and of course which of the young ones stay in the end). Complete overhaul is needed here as this is the weakest part of our team. Loup is done, Hawkins is done, we lose one of the kids as well, but I'm confident this can be addressed in the offseason.

So with all that (of course people can chime in with what they want to be added that I missed, or was simply wrong about) what do you think?

The AL East is never going to be weak and teams who were bad this year could easily do well next year from 1-5.

My thoughts are we will fight for the division depending on pitching and if we don't make any strides there, then we will fight for the wildcard most likely.

Not having David Price brings us into wild card territory IMO.

Goins is not a FA. He is under team control for several more years and he isn't going anywhere.

Our Offence is still going to be amazing.

I can see us trading one of our position players for a workhorse pitcher and/or reliever. Hate to say it, but Tulo and EE seem like good bets.
