Well deserved. Not only did he dominate the stat sheet but also was clutch and a great defender.

..... Though if LAA makes the playoffs, i think they give it to Trout.

On a related note:

This is 12th time that MVP of a league (Bryce Harper, 22-353 days) was younger than Rookie of the Year (Kris Bryant, 23-272 days)

Huge Congrats to JD ! what a great year. Too bad he couldn't get the Jays to the World Series, but hopefully he will help get the Jays there next year!

It wouldn't have been wrong if Trout won it. Donaldson deserved this though.

Passan wrote his piece about how he feels Trout is getting snubbed the same way Ted Williams was. His love for Trout is quite funny these days.

Not that his is empty. The voters once again looked past Trout's superiority – this season a 52-point OPS lead on Donaldson in addition to the well-above-average glove at the more challenging position – and found reasons not to reward him.

passan's such a massive dork

Absolutely well-deserved. And yes, JD absolutely should have gotten it over Trout this year and rightfully so.

Thanks again Billy.
