Daydreaming about baseball season....

Last year we spent a few weeks cottaging places around Ontario where its really hard to catch the game on the radio, and without satellite there is no coverage for tv.

I can usually get a bar or two on my cell and thought it I would try the MLB Gameday Audio this season. Anyone used it? It appears to be a blackout free zone, but was curious on the data usage it churns through, or if its any good.

a full game might run you 500 MB at most? definitely worth it though. mlb.tv premium is worth every penny imo. listened to that entire jays/royals series on august long weekend out on balsam lake with no buffering (rogers is my cell provider).

Sweet thanks will give it a go, not like its a big cost for the audio pkg. Can get 590 some days in Muskoka, but not clear ever. We were at Long Point in August and was able to get the Phillies broadcast across the lake, but couldn't get any broadcasts from the Canadian side when Jays moved out west, so my F-I-L and I missed a whole 4 game series. We were grumpy.

500MB sounds decent - I have a solid data plan. So would be able to handle a few games here and there with no worries.
