Nice SP depth signing (and another guy that AA had been after for years). The man formerly known as Fausto Carmona was also good in relief last season for the Astros (1.45 ERA/2.92 FIP/.568 OPS allowed in 18.2 IP), so that could be where he finds himself to begin 2016.

Never a fan of him as a starter, but worth a STI.

Fun fact: Baseball-Reference never changed their phonetic guide after his assumed identity was found wanting. Thus, you get:

Roberto Hernández \CAR-moan-ah\

Do not learn Spanish pronunciation from Baseball Reference.

I really think his pen success with Houston is what he's been brought in for. The Cleveland connection continues.
