Definitely need some power arms in the Pen. Connor Greene's time later in the season?

Sanchez is likely on an innings limit and could make his way back to the pen towards the end of the season.

Connor Greene has started the year in Dunedin. From everything I've heard from this new front office, they're going to be much more conservative with promotions. So it's highly unlikely Greene makes an appearance in the majors this year.

If they're in it at the trade deadline this year, I'd look for them to make another pitching acquisition of the Mark Lowe variety.

If he pitches like he has to start the year (ST + 1st game) I would much rather they find a way to skip starts creatively and have him available to start in the postseason. I think it is imperative that the team not have Dickey as part of your postseason rotation and having Stroman - Estrada - Sanchez - Happ would be much more preferable.

I'd worry more about actually getting to the playoffs before what the rotation might be if this team gets there. It's a pretty hard thing to accomplish in itself, especially in this division. If by some chance Sanchez is a good starter, they are probably going to need everything they can get out of him during the regular season to make it.

In a pre-game interview with the Fan 590 Shapiro said the current plan is to move Sanchez to the pen towards the end of the season.

7 lefties to face Sanchez tonight. Now it really begins.

This will be the true test for sure.

Just hope he can keep us in the game and give our offence a chance vs. Tanaka.

Good inning. The first few curveballs that Sanchez threw were terrible, but that last one was a perfect pitch.

80mph curve after 97 cheese. That'll play, particularly if he can locate it even semi-decently.
