ST #5: TOR @ BAL, Apr 19-21 | Sportsnet 1

Post#1 » by Stolen Identity » Tue Apr 19, 2016 2:16 pm

Game 1: Marcus Stroman (2-0, 4.22 ERA) vs Mike Wright (1-0, 7.20 ERA)

Game 2: R.A. Dickey (1-2, 6.75 ERA) vs Ubaldo Jimenez (1-1, 3.75 ERA)

Game 3: Marco Estrada (1-1, 2.77 ERA) vs Chris Tillman (1-1, 5.11 ERA)

All games start at 7:05 PM EST.

Always lot's of animosity between these 2 teams and their fans. Also, this happened during the game 6 of TOR @ KC.

This obviously stems from past meetings too, but this should be some great stuff to set up the opening series.

one of my top highlights from last season was clinching the division in these a$$hole's home turf and then degenerating the clubhouse in a debaucherous night of ecstasy, which included moving the party to the field where they straight up disrespected the entire orioles organization by ashing their cigars and dousing the infield with dom perignon and possibly even vomit. **** baltimore.

Bautista outplays his contract by more than $70 million over the next four seasons (2013-2016).

I love to picture baseball's most miserable SOB Buck Showalter sitting and stewing in his office during that celebration.

Easy win, game 1 and 3. Dickey is due for a decent start, so hopefully a sweep. **** Baltimore. Pop the champagne after every win there.

Game 2 is pretty much a write-off, so hoping for 2 of 3 here. Good to have Stroman kicking things off.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

**** Showalter. This team needs to be brought down again and it looks like the Jays will have to be the team that does it.

Spring hasn't truly arrived until Jose parks an O'Day pitch into the left field bleachers.

"Respect the game" by mouthing off and beaning him again, you pukes.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

You are pathetic. You are taught to run the bases with your head down. Pitchers throwing fastballs at players has always been a part of the game. /s

We need to throw at them first every game. So that the inevitable warning bull favors us.

And after every game, you're supposed to shake hands with your opponent and say "Good show, my dear lads! Good show I say!"

Why the hell did Tulo run there and why was he not held up? Literally no attempt to stop him by the 3rd base coach.......
