Best way to watch the Jays game?

Hi Guys, new here!
I've been struggling to find a decent way to watch the games since I travel a lot. I heard about MLB.TV which is an internet based service.

Has anyone tried it and would you recommend it?

Thanks for the help!

I have a number of friends who use it and love it. The annual father's day special is just around the corner as well. Keep in mind they should be blacking out local games but it isn't really enforced.

If you're looking for free check out the bluejays on Reddit. People post links there before every game.

You can always use Rogers anywhere or bell2go (whatever it's called)

Mlb.TV is one of the best. You can watch any game, home and away feeds, radio feed and so on. Stream quality is excellent. If you watch from am iPad, the mlb app provides many overlays while you watch such as out of town scores, pitch tracker and do on.

This is the only sports service I pay for, its great

Thanks so much for the quick reply guys.
I already registered with a friend of mine to MLB.TV. And we also saw that there's up to 30% discount if 2 more people join us. So if anyone else wants to join MLB.TV feel free to head here: http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/subscriptions/index.jsp?&jointv=join&groupid=1522051&source=sharelink&inviterid=YLJt0VUu6kTrDQwpMBGq823lUiPddOstXOHdlLqyrmvDOBgBi0TnmtYxhP7v1a86&invitername=Reid%20Hudspith&product=jointv&j_product=1001107599999910221601000#jtvw_step:groupReady=true

The only problem I have with MLB.tv is that every once and a while the stream quality tanks for a second or two. That usually coincides with the stream getting behind/skipping and you end up 3-4 pitches behind the TV broadcast rather than the 1-2 normally (and this is independent of quality of internet).

That and the awful commercials that play over and over again during TV timeouts (not that different from Rogers though).

Well that's the way it is with most online streaming so not too bad.
But again, thanks for the reply and the help. There's still 4 more hours for 1 more person to join our group to get 30% discount. Another friend of mine joined as well.

Wait a few more weeks and get it even cheaper than 69.99. on father's day it's typically sold for 49.99.

Im planning on coming to Toronto September 9th to 12th to watch the jays and boston series. Anyone know if its better to book seats now or wait and get scalped tickets when I come down...I am coming with a buddy so will need side by side seats.

There will be plenty of seats available on Stubhub or other places the week of especially considering we don't know if they will be in a playoff race or not by that point. Just wait until then to buy your tickets.

Will do..hotel prices are insane downtown that weekend. Im assuming its because the jays play boston that weekend because I don't think anything else of significance is happening in Toronto that weekend.

Nope that's just Toronto lol. It's not the kind of city where hotels book up months in advance because of a Jays game. It's just always busy and always expensive.
