ST: Diamondbacks @ Blue Jays | June 21st-22nd

Remember when the D'Backs were good? Mind you, remember when the Jays were good before this past weekend? Either way, it's time for the battle of two teams who are both in relatively average positions! The two-gamer features the Diamondbacks, who made a bunch of splashy moves this offseason to no avail, and sit at 33-39 despite acquiring a bunch of notables, including Zack Greinke and Shelby Miller. Their inexperience from other players has not translated into wins yet. Oh well! We don't face either of those pitchers!
Game 1: Tuesday, June 21st
7:07PM first pitch
Marco Estrada (5-2, 2.58 ERA) vs. Patrick Corbin (3-6, 4.76 ERA)
Game 2: Wednesday, June 22nd
4:07PM first pitch
J.A. Happ (8-3, 3.41 ERA) vs. Robbie Ray (4-5, 4.44 ERA)
Quick little two-gamer before the White Sox on the weekend. Would be a good time to take advantage of two clubs who are struggling and try and get some wins. Let's go!

These D-Backs jerseys are a disaster.

It took a few ABs, but Estrada has the changeup working really well again.

That is why I will always hate defensive shifts.

Amazing Pillar doesn't spend more time on injured list, others would and do.

Few Jays back in that "hit it to the moon" mode.

Buck referred to Tulo as a dangerous hitter about two years too late

So basically hit anything in left field and good chance for extra bases

Pillar followed up an amazing play with a boneheaded one, smh.
Why the **** would you try to steal 3rd there.

Marco the hard luck case, yet gain. Gives up 2 hits, losing 3-2. It's pretty rare that he gets any run support. It would be nice for the guys to pick him up to pad the W's before the all-star game.

Would have liked to see Estrada pitch another inning.

Not sure why they took Estrada out. And 4 runs chalk up another loss on Estrada because this team is useless for him.

Did Estrada get hurt? I can't see any other reason Gibbons would take him out after 88 pitches.

I just don't get it. He was really starting to settle in the last few innings and was just below 90 pitches.
