Post all the tweets, rumours and updates on rumours here and when a trade is made official we can make a separate thread to discuss it in detail.

First up is the Jays have apparently made a call on Boone Logan from the Rockies.

Yeah, I would appreciate this. If something looks close to getting done it can branch off into it's own thread but a lot of nonsense might come around the next few days.

All i want at this point is a LHP in the bullpen and another starter/catcher so we can dump Dickey/Thole.

Does the signing of Erik Kratz signal anything significantly?? Apparently Martin needed another off day yesterday because of that lingering injury from last week.

My guess is he is organizational depth and a call up in September. If at some point Dickey comes out of the rotation then I would think he might have a chance at replacing Thole as backup catcher. Until then though he will stay in Buffalo barring a Martin DL-stint.

Sounds like the Jays have checked in on Boone Logan, a LOOGY by trade mostly. Good numbers this season in Colorado of all places.

Marlins traded their #1 position prospect for a #3-#4 arm. Prices are going to be sky high this season. That's like us trading Urena or Alford for Cashner. They probably balked hard at that asking price.

The Marlins also got Colin Rea, who isn't great, but he's got a lot of cheap years left and there's a decent chance he sticks as a starter in the majors. Seeing Cashner traded reminds me of the Padres giving up Anthony Rizzo for him back in 2012, which was nearly as bad back then as it seems now. They wanted to clear room for newly acquired Yonder Alonso. Seriously.

If we can get boone, my worries of the bull pen will be put to rest. Really liked Benoit in his start, hopefully we'll get more of that to come.

Number of Top 100 prospects: 2

Top prospect: Richard Urena, SS (91)

The Blue Jays may only have two Top 100 players, but both might be of interest to other teams. Urena will stick at shortstop, and No. 93 prospect Sean Reid-Foley looks at least like a solid No. 3 starter. Bonus: Both will be at Double-A New Hampshire next year. Non-Top 100 guys like outfielder Anthony Alford, along with pitchers Conner Greene and Jon Harris, could also bring in big league talent.

Lets hope this is the last mention of any of these guys until after Monday.

ESPN.com’s Jayson Stark takes a look at the subject with the trade deadline seemingly forcing the issue. While GM Ross Atkins says the club won’t let Sanchez’s status impact its plans, and stresses that the organization is looking at far more than a simple innings tally, Stark reports that rival executives see Toronto as an aggressive pursuer of starters. He suggests that Jeremy Hellickson could make a nice target as a back-of-the-staff rental that shouldn’t cost too much.

All I ask is that we don't trade half the farm system for ~10 starts from a rental.
