Don't get the Bolsinger for Chavez trade. Bolsinger is just as awful.

Chavez is Jays #20 prospects on MLB Pipeline.

Nice to add a starter. Should help offset the loss of Sanchez as one. But not entirely considering how good Sanchez has been.

Edit: just saw we got Liriano. He's the more likely starter to replace Sanchez I guess.

Feldman is another expiring contract - So many free agents after years end - Better win now because we'll likely take a step back at least in the short-term.

Huh. Price must've been too high on Ervin. But Feldman can be a #5 or long reliever.

Not sure about Bolsinger but Chavez wasn't doing anything special here. But from what I'm reading, turning a good year of Liam into someone who was just as bad as Chavez is not good. No telling if Liam would've sustained the good year he had last season with us, but he definitely had that swagger and doesn't now in Oakland.

Also, lol @ the fact that this is the second time in as many weeks we've traded for a guy in the opposing clubhouse of the team we're facing.

There is a report from a baseball blogger of some repute that the Jays also got Francisco Liriano. No details or confirmation. So take this with a grain of salt.

Heyman confirms, Jays also getting two prospects. But no word on what moves the other way.

I am a big fan of all of these little moves we've made in the past week. Pretty low risk and high reward for nearly all of the deals.
