The streak starts here.
Game 1: Thursday, September 15th10:05PM first pitch
J.A. Happ (18-4, 3.33 ERA) vs. Daniel Wright (0-2, 7.50 ERA)
Game 2: Friday, September 16th10:05PM first pitch
Robert Allen Dickey (9-14, 4.60 ERA) vs. Jered Weaver (11-11, 5.25 ERA)
Game 3: Saturday, September 17th9:05PM first pitch
Francisco Liriano (7-12, 5.16 ERA) vs. Ricky Nolasco (5-14, 4.94 ERA)
Game 4: Sunday, September 18th3:35PM first pitch
Marcus Stroman (9-8, 4.55 ERA) vs. Alex Meyer (0-3, 8.18 ERA)
We venture out to Cali to face the offensive juggernaut Angels, and a surefire Cy Young candidate in Jered Weaver (note: these observations are solely based on our previous series, and does not take anything else into consideration). What will happen? The good news is we face two rooks who have struggled to start their MLB career, and since the Angels rotation is already decimated, our offense may yet stand a chance to hit solo home runs. Or not, you know.
Meanwhile, the Red Sox have a four-gamer against NYY, and Baltimore plays four against Tampa. Let's hope for the best!
Obligatory gif when we play the Angels:

Half the rotation injured or playing hurt, half the starting lineup injured or playing hurt. Assuming it's the same with a few bullpen arms.

The best part of this series is I'll be asleep before conclusion of half the games.

With the Angels throwing out the who's who of terrible MLB pitchers, we have hope for a split here.
So is Sanchez being skipped because he's hurt?

Bad finger or innings. If we hold on , playoffs starting pitching is a mess since we can't pitch many pitchers comfortably on 3 days rest. Actually, that's something that should be considered before the season even ends but we likely only have that option with Happ, Stroman, Dickey or Lirano now. It's a mess.

He has had a bad back all year. That's no joke. Hope he doesn't hurt it further.

If we make the playoffs then I would have to think that the starting pitching well have fixed itself to some degree. Anything can happen at that point, it's not like the Royals threw out a star studded rotation during last year's playoffs.
