ST: Orioles @ Jays - September 27th-29th

Post#1 » by a_child » Tue Sep 27, 2016 3:03 pm

Game 1: Tuesday, September 27th

7:07PM first pitch
Kevin Gausman (8-11, 3.57 ERA) vs. Aaron Sanchez (13-2, 3.12 ERA)

Game 2: Wednesday, September 28th

7:07PM first pitch
Chris Tillman (16-6, 3.84 ERA) vs. Fransisco Liriano (8-13, 4.88 ERA)

Game 3: Thursday, September 29th

7:07PM first pitch
Ubaldo Jimenez (7-12, 5.71 ERA) vs. Marcus Stroman (9-9, 4.34 ERA)

Toronto and Baltimore won't need to do any scoreboard watching from Tuesday to Thursday to check in on how the other is doing. They'll know after each pitch. The two American League Wild Card holders open a three-game set at Rogers Centre on Tuesday.

The Blue Jays, who lost to the Yankees Monday while the Orioles wre off, hold the top AL Wild Card spot over the O's by one game. After a sweep over Arizona, Baltimore holds a two-game lead over Detroit for the second Wild Card.

Just keep racking up them series wins, pls guise

2/3 pls

Praying that Travis didn't hurt his surgically repaired shoulder.

Already bummed about Benoit, you know he's missing a few weeks at least.

Gausman is usually a gascan at Rogers Centre. This is basically playoff baseball, what you play for. Should be fun
That's what she said.

*sigh*

I've felt more confident with Benoit than Grilli or Osuna TBH. :banghead:

Carrerra leading off. Looks like there is a good chance our worst hitter is going to get the most at bats over the last week of the season. Perfect.

Torn calf muscle - same injury as Cecil - for Benoit. No timetable for his return. Jays also have called up Andy Burns, which suggests they may have to give Travis some time off.

Well Travis is day to day so he could be back real soon. I'm surprised Gibby didn't put bautista at lead off because he's been an on base machine lately.

Bautista should be leadoff. No idea what Gibby is thinking.

First thing I thought too. Then Carerra only took 3 minutes to prove us both wrong.
