This completely showed how ridiculous a zach britton cy young is. biggest game of the season and hes supposed to be the ace in the hole but hes only good for one inning handcuffing Buck. Not much of an equalizer if you can only use his one inning at the most opportune moment

Really like our chances with Happ and Sanchez on the road.
Rangers give up a lot of runs (and score a lot) at home, but they're not as strong as the Red Sox which got shut down by the sensational pitching last weekend.

Aside from Hamels and Darvish they don't have pitching depth. Their bullpen is suspect.

Texas leads the league in 1 run wins because their **** pitching and defense gives the other team a lot of chances

Reporting Yogi for not being HangTime.

Give Sanchy the Cy, btw. Britton is MIA.
We're here. Let's just win. **** Texas. Also **** Harold Reynolds in advance because I'm not going to be looking forward to listening to him.

My biggest problem with this matchup is the Rangers have had a season with all-time levels of winneryness. In fact, they had the most winnery season in the history of baseball. The Jays offense has a tendency to not produce with RISP and I'm worried if we keep Texas in the game long enough (1 or 2 run game going into the 8th either way), their winneryness will take over. We need the offense to come up huge against them. Obviously the history is there but they're also a significantly better team than last year. Yu Darvish is back, Lucroy, Beltran, healthy Beltre, Desmond, improved Dyson, all potential to be difference-makers. It would be wonderful if last night's game is the thing that woke the sleeping giant that is the Jays' bats.

This is actually the best draw for an ALDS. Rangers with their measly run differential and their reputation of choking at inopportune moments. It would suck if we lost to them of all teams, but I like our odds if rolling the dice.

I'm gonna predict this series is over in less than 5 :P

Really not worried about the Rangers. If the offence wakes up, it's an easy series win. Even if it stays anemic, we still have a chnace.

Agreed. The Jays still might lose because their offense has been having issues getting going of late, but of the other 3 AL playoff teams, I think the Rangers are the weakest. Although I'd still rather be the team facing Cleveland at this point, because their starting rotation is just decimated right now.

4-3 for the Jays this season.

This is like Christmas. All I have wanted since that last game. Rangers are a bunch of cowards.

4-3

3-1 at home, 1-2 on the road. Mostly close games with a couple of Jays 5+ run wins.

EDIT: oops, didn't see the post above yet. Anyways... GO JAYS
