It's our first WC game ever and we won it in dramatic fashion. So it's top 5, definitely. Obviously the best is winning a WS but this was a notable game.

Top 5 in no particular order. Wild card, the two WS winning games, the Oakland game where Alomar homered, last year's ALDS game 5,

Also Game 2 of the 1992 World Series with the Ed Sprague pinch hit homer. I'd have to rank it like this:

1) Joe Carter walk off World Series '93
2) 1992 World Series winning game
3) Jose bat flip/Edwin walk off (tied)
4) Alomar homer off Eckersley
5) Sprague pinch hit homer '92

I'm sure there were some important wins in the late '80s with the George Bells and Lloyd Moseby's but I was just a kid back then :)

For sheer insanity, Game 4 in 1993 probably deserves to be in there...trailed 6-3, 12-7, and 14-9 entering the eighth. Won 15-14 on Devon White's two-out, two-run triple in a six-run inning.

We haven't made a habit of being in the playoffs, but we've had some crazy games.

I wouldn't tie those at #3. Jose's was far more dramatic in a bigger game.

The 15-14 series game against the phillies has to rank.

Maybe I'm being a little bias towards Edwin's homer last night cause I was there at the 100 level. Everyone was losing their minds when it happened. Quite dramatic from my POV :)

Just the fact that this game goes in as an All-time Great moment..... is sad. It shows how bad this team has been in so long.

Do you think the Yankees or Red Sox would give a hoot if they won a WC game in this manner?... no... they probably would party all night and then forget about it. Move onto better moments.

We haven't even been around as long as those two teams, and there's other teams with even less of a history. I mean look at the Rangers - you'd think the best moment in the entire history of that franchise is a sucker punch to Bautista. At least our great moments come from playoff games and championships

World Series - Joe Carter HR one of the most memorable moments in World Series/baseball history
ALDS - Joey Bat Flips and crazy game specifically the 7th inning the craziest most memorable ALDS game ever
Wild Card - ESPN already rated Edwins HR as the greatest moment/game in Wild Card history today
ALCS - Alomars HR against Oakland is iconic in franchise history although I'm not sure where it would rank in ALCS history

The Red Sox almost went a 100 years without a World Series and the Yankees are in a league of their own in all of sports...

We may have missed the playoffs for 21 years or whatever it was but we've come back in style and have more historic
moments then a lot of franchises out there.
