Not surprised to be honest. Osuna barely got any work in during ST.

He got rocked. They brought him in in the bottom of the 9th to close it out and he gave up 3 doubles and recorded 0 outs as Italy came back from a 4 run deficit to win at mexico. Another Jays connection, Colabello played for Italy.

LAKELAND, Fla. — Roberto Osuna had a rough go in his first World Baseball Classic outing for Mexico Friday night, allowing five runs (four earned) on three hits and a walk.

Osuna entered the game in the bottom of the ninth with a four-run lead and promptly allowed three consecutive doubles. The next batter reached on an error and Osuna walked the hitter after that before he was lifted from the game without recording an out.

It certainly didn’t look good, but Blue Jays pitching coaches watched the outing again Friday morning and felt Osuna pitched better than the results showed.

“They say it wasn’t that bad,” Blue Jays manager John Gibbons said. “He should be fine.”

The Blue Jays were happy with Osuna’s velocity and don’t believe the rough results were a troubling sign. Asked how much stock he puts in World Baseball Classic performance, Gibbons didn’t flinch.

“None. Zero. Osuna’s our guy,” he said. “You never know what happens in those things. We’re not worried about that.”

1, DEAN KREMER. First Israeli to be drafted by mlb.

Born and raised in California. At least he's an Israeli citizen, I guess.

They advanced to the second round and the top Jewish players didn't even commit. Imagine if the had Pillar, Braun, Kipnis, Sherzer and Matz?

Absolutely. Pompey just face planted himself stealing second, drawing blood, Canada likely eliminated if they don't win. Also watched the USA game yesterday and looking forward to USA vs Dominican tomorrow.

Gagne wasn't bad. Also under 90 in inning 2.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

Jose with the game saving throw out at the plate...great play by the catcher too.

Can't say I was expecting to watch much of the WBC, but several of these games have been pretty awesome.

If there's one takeaway from the WBC, it's that the extra innings rules are just as idiotic as one might expect, and need to never be introduced into MLB.

Yeah that wasn't baseball, more like a beer league co-ed softball setup that ruined a pretty good baseball game.An important game like that should just be settled the same way the first 9 innings were started. The rules at home plate and 2nd base are ridiculous, the intentional walk rule that takes away a precious 15-20 seconds and now possibly this one. Don't these people want to see the mishap's of a possible balk, a intentional ball accidentally thrown for a strike or the pitcher throwing it right to the backstop by mistake? It's all being decided by someone that plays beer league softball. Go play that if you don't like playing or watching baseball, stop trying to perfect a game that is fine the way it is.

Should just press a button on RBI BASEBALL 2017 or out of the park and simulate an entire season through computer, if they really want to save time. No point making them risk injury by swinging a bat or throwing a baseball if we have a general idea how good they will be before even playing!

It's very idiotic and so were the last couple changes but that didn't stop them from making them :(

Is there honestly no better pitcher in Canada who would be willing to pitch for the team than Ryan Dempster? Embarrassing...
