I think tickets at new Yankee Stadium are just too expensive for regular season baseball games. I went to a few games there in '09 and they were pretty expensive, and they're probably higher now. It's interesting though, because they always have high announced attendances, so I'm assuming the tickets are sold. Must be on the secondary market, or in the hands of businesses or something.

Their CEO (I think?) stated last year that they keep the prices high because they'd rather have those seats empty than having the peasants able to afford seats alongside the more important clientele.
