Fake starters:

Friday, May 19th (7:05PM start): RA Dickey vs. Bud Norris

Saturday, May 20th (7:35PM start): Josh Towers vs. Erik Bedard

Sunday, May 21st (1:35PM start): Phil Huffman vs. Mike Boddicker (boy, if we had RealGM around in the late 80's, Schad would've had a field day with this name)

Actual, not-fake starters:

Friday, May 19th (7:05PM start): Aaron Sanchez (0-1, 2.95 ERA) vs. Chris Tillman (1-0, 2.89 ERA)

Saturday, May 20th (7:35PM start): Mike Bolsinger (0-2, 6.1 ERA) vs. Kevin Gausman (2-3, 7.19 ERA)

Sunday, May 21st (1:35PM start): Marco Estrada (2-2, 3.6 ERA) vs. Wade Miley (1-1, 3.02 ERA)

The Blue Jays baseball team will try to defeat the Baltimore Orioles baseball team! Will they? I don't know, the games haven't been played yet! I hope they do, though!

Also of note, Anthony Alford is playing tonight, so that's going to be interesting.

Go zilby. Be the thread starter that I could not.

Very excited to see Alford's debut. He has had a good month in AA.

Why on Earth did they promote Alford? Very surprised. 141 plate appearances above A ball, from a management team that said it's going to be conservative with prospect development!?

Pretty sure it's a one emergency start type of thing. There's no way Alford is ready for extended at-bats in the majors yet.

I wonder if Edwin gets booed in Baltimore, when he plays there with the Indians?

They had a need, but other AAAA guys could have filled it. I'm pretty shocked that they reached for Alford. Maybe their performance team thought he'd benefit from a taste of MLB action?

There's literally no other option on the 40 man roster.

Lmao swinging at a pitch that ends up hitting you. Only we could get that unlucky.
