Who would've thought after that rough start and losing half our team to the DL we would be sitting only 5 games under .500

Just noticing Sam Dyson's numbers on the season  . Hate that guy.

Odor isn't exactly lighting the world on fire, either, with his .615 OPS.

I hope we option, waive, DFA or whatever the h3ll you call it, Mike Bolsinger. It's like Josh Towers all over again. I hope plays decent. I just want the team to be over .500 ASAP!

when odor was growing up his parents always had to make sure the lid was on the toilet seat so he didn't drink out of it

every time i watch that bat flip i wonder why the **** people got so upset about it... even taking into account the bull unwritten rule that i disagree with in the first place, it's pretty understandable why he would get hyped up during that play... it's one of those situations where even as a player in favour of the unwritten rule you should have the logic to accept and understand that it's one of those rare times when that rule shouldn't really matter... for example, i would expect a post game quote regarding the matter to go something like, "well yeah, normally showboating pisses me off, but taking into account what transpired during game, i understand his emotion after hitting it. he gets a pass for that one."

I see that Dwight Smith Jr is in the line up today for Buffalo, so I guess he was send down. Have to think this is the return of Tulo and JD?

Yeah he was sent down. One spot will be for JD/Tulo.. Valdez will join him for the other.

Atkins said on 590 that Tulo and Donny are penciled in to be back in the lineup Friday.
That's what she said.

I don't understand why home run celebrations are frowned upon, but it's ok for Grilli and Stroman to yell, scream and wildly fist pump after an inning ending strikeout. Baseball takes itself too seriously.

May Jays , the sluggers

19th in BA
24th in OBP
4th in SLG
14th in OPS

#1 in extra base hits for May, without JD and Tulo.

I was shocked to see that Smoak was among the leaders in RBI's. 29 so far!

Who would of thought of that at the beginning of this season?

I think 6-4 on this home stand is a minimum. 7-3 would be nice. Anything more and I will be ecstatic!

Yeah, old white guys of the past are pretty much offended at any showmanship in modern baseball with all the new blood, plus guys from the Dominican and other parts of Latin America who grew up with all that stuff. I like that showmanship on both sides, for pitchers and hitters alike. It makes baseball more fun, why shouldn't they be allowed to do that? It's a sport. They just need to loosen up, I don't understand how it's disrespectful to the game or whatever to flip a bat when you hit a HR or Fist pump when you get a big strikeout.

Anyway, **** Texas. What an annoying team. Too bad we likely won't hit the playoffs so we can stomp them again.

I'm sure it'll take JD and Tulo a bit of time to get going, but damn, forgot how good that lineup looks when healthy.
