Please stop using "now the wheels are really spinning" as an expression for "something is happening". Wheels turning might but a good thing, but if wheels are spinning, you aren't going anywhere.

Osuna imploding was not the tank move I expected, but I will take it. A GIDP on the one **** strike thrown by Bud **** Norris, that sounds more Jays-esque.

Osuna, has been terrific all year, but did not have it today. That happens. What i do not understand is Bautista- looking at Ball 3, swung at that pitch. He let Norris off the hook. Terrible decision. Typical of the 2017 Blue Jays. Terrible time to announce a ticket increase for 2018, after this awful season.

Yeah, Revenge of the Guys From 2015 Who Are Now Scrubs is probably more accurate.

And the A's series certainly hurt the tank, but it's clear that it didn't derail it completely. Still top 8, and with our brutally difficult schedule on the run in, there's still hope of reeling in a few teams.

A top 8 pick is still not bad. You have to assume the "Jays win meaningless games in September" thing might occur again like it did in previous seasons.
