I notice he often gets ahead of batters, sometimes 0-2, and a lot of hits come with pitch counts which should favour him. He's gone to so many breaking balls, and now says teams are hunting them. But pitch selection when he's ahead of the batter might be a factor along with pitch velocity and location.

I believe he will have a bounce back year in 2018. Hope I'm right.

Saying we should have traded Osuna after 2 poor months is hard to justify. Of course it would have been prudent now to maximize his value but with 3.5 cost controlled years left at the time and no sign of regression coming there was no urgency to do so.

Devon Travis was a better example of a player that should have been traded prior to the season. He's been injury prone his entire career so continual loss in trade value could have been predicted.
