He made his MLB debut last season with the Cincinnati Reds, appearing in six games in September including two starts. He spent most of last season with the Double-A Pensacola Blue Wahoos where he posted a 9-9 record with a 2.79 ERA in 27 starts.

Sentimental reasons. Besides. respectable franchises let their icons retire with the team if they want.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we bring Bautista back expecting him to be a main contributor. But if he's willing to come back as a bench vet, I'm not saying no.

Not really, not saying McGuire is anything special but he could possibly be useful. Bautista is past being useful
