The guy openly condoned physical assault via rookie hazing. That wasn't a problem though, apparently.

Gregg Zaun's entire existence constituted a fireable offense. Never should have had the platform he did, but Sportsnet wanted to have Baseball Don Cherry.

That’s pretty much what it came down to. Prototypical “old-fashioned, no-nonsense” type who could go on unfiltered and gain viewership simply by being unorthodox or politically incorrect.

No surprise he’s being outed as generally a bad person, given that he’s been previously widely regarded as a bad person. If he doesn’t like it, he should heed his own advice he gives to baseball players (about literally anything) and go home and cry about it.

I didn't mind him - Not that i agreed with everything he said, but without Zaun, Rogers Jays baseball production is just a big circle jerk of positive nonsense every pre and post game show.

Give me a replacement who isn't afraid to call Jays players/management out please.

Zaun is expected. When I look at him I want to protect women from him.

I'm guessing this is very common when you are famous The issue with Zaun was that he was a creepy old looking dude and not really famous thus why would a girl take you up on that offer/

Can't remember clearly, but didn't he side with Bautista and Casey Janssen when they called out AA and the front office for not doing anything at the trade deadline in 2013?

I first read about this on the score app. The weird thing was that the article completely removed the word sexual. It just said harassment.

When Bobcat interrupted the broadcast to read a statement by Rogers regarding inappropriate behaviour in sportsnet, immediately thought it would be Gregg Zaun.

You could find this guy drinking it up at Firkin closeby the Skydome after games. Hitting on any woman inside and flashing his world series ring......

I'm not sure sending out internet social website invitations to weird sex parties to people (young attractive females) you don't know is actually superstandard for famous people. Even freaky famous people. Hard to admit but I guess Baseball Analyst Don Cherry Guy is semifamous.

CP24 lists some potential replacements for Zaun... I'm not a fan at all of Arencibia, however like Shulman and Buehrle...

Schulman taking over for Zaun would be an extreme step backward for him. I can't see him quitting Sunday Night Baseball just so he can sit beside Jamie Campbell and ramble for 2 minutes between each inning. They'd be better off demoting Tabler to that role and getting Schulman on the proper broadcast if he's willing to do a full-time job.
