2B Starlin Castro is available via Trade

Stanton is a Yankee. Watch out AL East. Boston and NYY gonna dominate for quite some time. Might as well rebuild and follow their floor plant, and that goes for all other AL East teams.

On a side note: Marlins have made Starlin Castro available for trade. Would he be a good fit in Toronto?

I don't think we have much need for him. 2/$22M is a fair price for Castro but he's more suited to a team with a black hole at 2B rather than a team with Travis and Diaz. Hard to justify spending 1/3 of our offseason budget on a player that doesn't really make us any better. If we trade Donaldson, that opens another spot to cycle Diaz and Castro through, so maybe it'd make sense so logn as Gyorko/Carpenter are not part of the return.

He would, but the Marlins would be looking for a lot, considering that they just traded Stanton for two fringe prospects. And a guy like Castro is valuable enough to both AL and NL teams to get at least one blue chip prospect back in a trade.
