Not even expecting tulo to play a game again.

Only a slight exaggeration

I’m not even mad at what we have up for tulo it’s the fact that he’s been garbage the entire time we’ve had him and now he’s locking up 20 mill in team salary and can’t even get on the friggin field.

Why is he always hurt. Seriously how do people get this way?

He could barely beat Morales in a foot race when he was healthy. I wonder if he will have the mobility to play SS effectively when he returns.

To be honest, seeing if Diaz can recapture his 2016 form is more important that watching a middling & declining Tulo play at this point.

2.5 years out, and the best player in that trade was the guy who was salary-dumped.

Why didn’t he have this procedure in the off season?

apparently he noticed the pain at the start of spring training. Either way, why didnt they have the surgery back then? could have made his return to the field a month sooner

Tulo serves as a reminder to never trade for hitters with the Rockies. They're a product of their environment. Tulo couldn't even put up a single month where he looked like the superstar hitter he was over there.

I doubt it lol. He burned his bridges with them when they traded him. I'm guessing they'll reconcile when he retires.

Just release this clown already. Always getting injured. Never wanted to be a Blue Jay.

Basically stealing money. I wish baseball had non guarantees like NFL.

My theory is that too many professional athletes eat like crap. GMOs and sugars.

I highly doubt that GMOs caused Tulowitzki to develop bone spurs.

Most of his injuries have been lower body, and it's easy for those things to cascade. Tweak a muscle and it affects your gait, causing you to place more strain on your hip. Favour your bad hip, and you could injure something else, and so forth.

I also don't think he's stealing anything. His body is simply breaking down, a not-uncommon circumstance in sports. It's our fault that we traded for a player with a long and storied injury history.

Rockies sign him to a monster contract. Use up his Prime. Then sell him to the Jays just as he falls off. Plus get a top prospect while at it.

I don’t know who that GM is is there. Or if he knew something the Jays didn’t, but he deserved an extension just got that trade.

Master piece of a trade.

I only care if he is ready to pass the torch of starting SS to Bo Bichette next year.

A lot of athletes try to avoid surgery until it’s the only option available. They’ll explore every possible alternative first.

Who cares if he’s ready to pass the torch. He can be a glorified bat boy and like it for all the money he’s eating up. He won’t even make it past April next year anyways before he breaks something else.

you missed my point, I rather having him sitting on the DL and eat all those money instead of starting at SS next year. I don't want him and Donaldson blocking the way for Bo and Vlady, especially that they are very likely to blaze through the upper minor this year.
