Jaime Garcia (2-2, 5:40 ERA) vs Carlos Carrasco (4-1, 3.08 ERA)

Game 2 - whenever, but supposedly 4:40pm
Joe Biagini (0-0, 4.76 ERA) vs Adam Plutko (no record)

Plutko, like Biagini, is a callup for the second game

Challenge for the Jays is to get at least a split here and then take two of three (at least) in Tampa. The Red Sox are now 12 games over .500, the Yankees 10 games over .500, and neither looks likely to fall back much. More likely, they'll both keep surging towards 95-plus wins. Second wildcard now is Seattle at six games over .500, with the Angels at five games over .500. Both are leading in their games tonight. So at the present time the Jays are one and a half games out of second wildcard, and have to remain close to where they are until Donaldson is back.

Donaldson is back apparently and will be activated

EE had a great game hitting 3 HRs hopefully he slows down for the next couple.

Garcia better be up for the challenge tomorrow vs. the (Not A Racist Team Name).

Donaldson may play 3B in one game, DH in the other. Apparently, the weather in Cleveland is iffy. Might get in one game, would be lucky to get in both.

Garcia has always been very inconsistent. His sudden transformation from being a GB-heavy pitcher to one who surrenders a fair number of flyballs is a little odd, though.

Garcia doesn't look like he'll last the year. If he can pitch 5 innings of 5.00 ERA ball the rest of the year we'll be lucky.

This would be a nice game to win
