Seattle is five games over .500 and not even in the second wildcard spot.

Will Stroman get his ERA under 6 by the All-Star break?

Probably will. 4.40 FIP/3.79 XFIP/7.52 ERA. Alot of bad luck there. Throw in too many walks with a .babip of .330 and %50 of runners left on base, screams more bad luck.

Stroman isn't as bad as his numbers suggest, but his seeming lack of fastball command is a bit alarming.

There's quite a bit of bad luck (like the LOB% in particular), but he also entered today giving up the second-highest rate of hard contact in the league, which will lead to a higher BABIP.

Time for the minors for him. He's been dreadful this season.

Stroman is our worst starter. Osuna is in jail. Our starting 9 is racked by injury.
It's not looking good.

I don't thing this team is as good as its record suggests.
But I do want to hear Wilner twist in the wind on this season.

And less soft contact. Wonder if the stats beside that, %pull, %centre, %oppo have anything to do with that. Balls are being pulled more and less opposite field, which makes sense that hard contact is more pull heavy. Pitch outside more.

If not for our bullpen's ridiculous numbers in high-leverage situations, I'm pretty sure we'd be comfortably below .500.

we actually not good at all, we've had super clutch and timely hits this year so far that aint gonna continue, our record should be a lot worse

and its time to legitly worry about stroman, this team needs an ace and he believes he can be one, but the pressure of leading a staff has gotten to him

At least Baltimore knows how to do it right. Since the Devil rewards bad owners like Angelos, the #1 pick in the 2019 draft will probably turn into a superstar.

It may be pressure or it may be that the chip on his shoulder is too heavy. That and spending so much time selling his Little Big Man clothing line.
