Blue Jays closer Roberto Osuna charged with assault by Toronto police

Details of the alleged incident weren’t immediately known.
He is scheduled to appear in court Monday, June 18.

Well, nothing good can come of this, even if it's a setup, which I doubt it is. It's not like there aren't enough prominent examples out there to dissuade young men from hitting women. Maybe this puts Biagini back in the pen and opens up the path for Borucki to start.

Nah, if guilty people can change... I prefer having good players on the roster even if it meant them doing something stupid in the past.

I also give people exactly one chance when it comes to assaulting women. It's the chance they get before they assault women.

Trading him now would be the worst better off to invest in getting him help at this point .. But we know how Rogers run like a business ( Pillar overreaction) They'd probably give a harsher punishment over the MLB should he be found guilty.

So I guess at this point, we hope the accuser is not romantically involved with him, which would make it assault rather than domestic violence. Which, for some reason, is treated very differently.

**** man, didn't need to hear this the day after the Raps sweep.
Let's wait and see what happened first. If this a "he said, she said" thing, Osuna's lawyer probably gets him off.
