Winning two of three here would be very advantageous.

Agreed on giving Sam Gaviglio a chance in the rotation. We know what Biagini can do, and it's OK for spot starts, but between Stroman's health and the performance of Garcia and Sanchez, we're gonna need another full-time starter basically all year long. It'd be nice to know if Gaviglio can be that guy. After 5 good consistently good starts in Buffalo, and with him being on 5 days rest for Sunday, it makes a lot of sense to give him a shot.

When we get to mid-season, and depending on the overall state of the team, the Jays might well consider a prospect - Borucki or Reid-Foley – rather than a veteran like Gaviglio.
