That doesn't make any sense. There are plenty of people jacked like that who work eight hours a day or more at a normal job. Why would it be harder to maintain muscle mass when your actual job involves allotted time to lift weights under the supervision of a professional trainer? Or eating at hotels when the meals are generally catered, with the menu set by dietitians?
Do you know how hard it is to gain appreciable muscle mass and keep it on while maintaining a low body fat %? It’s a contradiction. You need to to eat a much larger amount of protein and therefore calories to build that muscle, however to do that you also will gain fat, no matter how lean the diet. And you have to work out several hours a day, every day, to build that muscle. With increased calorie intake comes increased fat intake. If you try and cardio the fat away then your muscle mass will also decrease. It s a vicious circle and that’s why PEDs are popular. Whether calories are in the form of protein or carbs or fat. Any big increase will result in increased weight everywhere. PEDs allow that shortcut of increased muscle mass without having to stuff your face to build it the old fashioned way.
You can’t gain 20 to 30lbs of muscle and have a 32 inch waist unless you use PEDs. You may gain 10lbs initially but then you plateau and have to really increase your calorie intake to make noticeable gains. And there goes your 32 inch waist. Ball players don’t have that kind of free time while playing every day and constant travel because you basically have to spend 4 to 5 hours in a gym every day. And if you that, you’re not gonna have much energy left for the game. PEDs will cut that training time in half and yield better results. What do you think a ball player is gonna do when he wants to earn a living and get that big contract.
And where did u get that dietitians set the meals for the players. And then do they follow them around to make sure they eat right. They’re not the royal family. Hotel food, I don’t care where you’re staying, is the last stuff you wanna eat as part of your workout routine. Any restaurant food is prepared so it tastes good, which means it’s full of fat and cholesterol. And you do not build muscle eating hotel food. Ball players on the road don’t all sit together every night and have dinner together at a big table like it’s the last supper. And do you think any hotel would totally change thier menu and make thier food “workout friendly” because 25 ball players stay there once a year. And at home it would be even worse.
And that guy u know who is jacked and works 8 hours a day? If he’s 6 feet tall, 220lbs, looks like a linebacker and has a 32 inch waist. Guess what, he is on something unless he’s in the gym 6 hours a day every day. And even then youre gonna have some flab if you’re eating 5000 calories a day. Sorry to burst you bubble. You’re being naive.
It’s like actors who “all of a sudden” gain 30lbs of muscle and have 6 packs in 3 months for a movie role yet 3 months after the movie they’re back to normal. It’s because they use PEDs. You use them, you gain quickly, you get off them completely and you lose it quickly.
