Rare off day for Pillar. Urshela hasn't been great at shortstop.

We're starting our 35-year-old catcher at SS. And he may be the best SS on the roster.

LOL, 7th guy we’ve played at short this year. That’s crazy.

Sets a Jays record; we have never had more than six starting shortstops in a season. It's also May, and the one guy who hasn't started at shortstop is our preseason starting shortstop.

Heh, might as well position seven players on the warning track with Garcia pitching.

Stroman and Marco Estrada each have a 7 IP outing to their names, and Sanchez went 8 IP. Long outings have been few and far between, though.

AA must be chilling in Atlanta. He goes over there inheriting a gold mine of prospects, while the Jays are struggling in large part because JD, Stroman, Sanchez, Osuna, Tulo, Martin, Travis, etc (the main core left behind) are collectively **** the bed for different reasons. At least he left us Vlad as a parting gift.

I bring this up only because I saw Atlanta's lineup and farm system. Loaded. AA had to have learned from Gillick when to leave a spot on top rather than be there to see it crumble.

Mother nature saw we were being no-hit for the 2nd game just this month and took pity on us.

Yeah, if anyone is curious, the definition of a no-hitter was changed some time back, and thus a full 9 IP is necessary for it to count. If the game is called owing to weather, the Phillies will win 1-0 as five innings have elapsed, but Nola won't be credited with a no-hitter.

Are we going to get no hit by all of our unsigned draft picks? Are Tyler Beede and Phil Bickford next?

They also have zero truly bad money past this season. They barely have money, period.

(Whatever the hell they're doing with Wisler and Gohara is weird, though)

Probably doesn't even need to be said, but no team has ever been no-hit twice in a season by players they drafted, signed or otherwise.

Thank you to whoever was responsible for that rain delay.
