Baltimore at Toronto
Dead Birds vs Lame Birds
The Marcus Stroman "WE STINK" series (Think of it, if Stroman thinks the Jays suck, what does a Baltimore fan think of one of the worst teams in baseball, perhaps baseball history.
Welcome to AAAA baseball, or in the case of the Machado-less O's, AA baseball.

Pat Tabler just called Adam Jones a superstar.

It's hard to put into words just how bad the Orioles are. 97 games in, they're on pace for ~46 wins.

Looks like today's game will not be one of them.

One must not underestimate just how bad the Blue Jays are, too.

Diaz doubles to lead off the inning - didn't run thinking it was a homer, should have been an easy triple.
Teoscar strikes out with Diaz at 3B and one out.
More great fundamental baseball. Gibbons should be proud - good to see his emphasis/insistence on fundamental baseball is really paying off. Oh wait...

Really unconvinced that Gurriel is going to stick at the major league level. Has a bit of pop, but not enough to offset the horrible OBP, and he's a long way from being the finished product in the field.

The O's were annoyingly winnery when we were good, and now they're annoyingly losery when we're bad. I mean, their expected record on the year is 53-109, and they're underperforming even that by several games.
At 43-119, the 2003 Tigers were the worst team of the past half-century. The Orioles are on pace for a 45-117 mark, have managed to be even worse over the past 30 days, they have a tough schedule remaining and will be selling off anything that moves. History awaits.

Cashner is going to implode after the game. LOL.
These O's are incredibly good at losing.

Bregman, Judge, Lindor, Ramirez, Trout, Betts, Bauer, de Grom, Verlander and Sale all have a higher WAR than the ENTIRE O's cumulative WAR of 4.3 (not including today).
Indians have 3 players. Red Sox and Astros have 2 individual players higher than the the entire O's team.
If Schrezer wins today then he will have 13 wins. Severino and Schrezer would have a combined 27 wins. The O's have 28 wins.
That is terrible in case anyone is wondering.

Surprised that the Orioles are this bad, considering they still have superstar Adam Jones.
