That was one of Tabby's worst.
shulman: Where should you pitch Mauer?
Tabby: Right down the middle.
After Biagini gives up 2 home runs.

So, Gurriel now hitting .295 with a wRC+ of 107. Small sample size fluke, or do we have something here?

He has alot of similarities with Pillar as far as plate discipline go. Very few walks and out of zone swing% over %40. If Gurriel could lay off the outside pitches or high fastballs we might have something.

We are to every other team what the Orioles are to us. Thank goodness for the OrioLOLs.
Where the hell is Donaldson? Is Tulo still alive? Did Sanchez have a finger amputated? Inquiring minds want to know.

didnt the twins lose 9 straight road games before coming to Toronto? they come here and we get swept. lol.. nightmare of a season continues.. 2019 season will be the same if not worse. crappy times to be a Blue Jays fan.

It's hard to say. There are really no standout performers that we are losing, aside from perhaps Happ and Oh. Really that's it.
Vladdy and Jansen will be up, and there's a good chance they'll be upgrades on Donaldson (since he has hardly played) and Martin. Gurriel is looking pretty good (minus the lack of patience at the plate), and Pompey is quietly having a very nice season in Buffalo (albeit in a small sample size due to injuries).
On the pitching front we have a full season of Borucki to look forward to, and hopefully better health and performance from Stroman and Sanchez. And Osuna won't be in jail or suspended, which will be a big plus.
But the biggest changes will come on the coaching side. I'd be shocked if Gibby and the entire staff aren't shown the door, and it's about time.
We're on pace for 74 wins (thanks Orioles). I think we project to be a 70-75 win team next year, with some upside to .500. Not because we'll be particularly good, just that there are a lot of bad teams in the league, and this has been a nightmare season. With reversion to the mean and some good rookie debuts we could actually be better.
